This sculpture features 8 figures from large to small - each figure has a happy face and a gentle grace to it signifying the inevitability to movement change and circle of life. This sculpture illustrates multiple somersaults which is like a continuous movement in which a figure is seen making multiple complete turns by bringing the feet over the head in other words called a roll. It is a moving symbol of the concept of the body in motion changes in position over time. We are all mobile beings and the concept of life’s continuous tug and pull is automatic, healthy and basic…metaphysically this movement is not always pleasant. It is a sum of positive and negative movement to get us to where we want to go.
