This is a sculptural expression of one of these winged, flying seeds. The part that grows is facing down, seeking purchase in suitable soil. The green patina color suggests the promise of new life, while the brown earthy tone represents a return back to the earth.

This sculpture was recently purchased by the City of Red Wing’s Arts & Culture Commission
